Mwinilunga Safaris is a family run business on the banks of the mighty Zambezi river in the heart of Mana Pools. We pride ourselves on tailor made, tented camp adventures that will leave footprints in your heart forever. The camp is run by Dave McFarland, Tess Arkwright and Camp Manager Andrew Arkwright (who is our Down Syndrome son).
Offering a diverse range of safari activities and landscapes, Mana Pools is home to large concentrations of relaxed wildlife including buffalo, elephant, wild dog, lion, leopard and a large variety of antelope. Characterised by giant Acacia trees and open plains, seeing up to ten different species of mammal in one sweep is a common event on the Mana Pools floodplain in the dry months June through to November.
