Business Overview
Timelink Systems (Pvt.) Ltd. was incorporated on the 15th of June 1993 through the Zimbabwe Investment Centre and have since been specialising in state-of-the-art computerised Time and Attendance systems which can also incorporate Shop Floor Data Capture and Access Control facilities, and are the sole Southern African Agents and Distributors for the fully customisable timeNet-Proteus range of Time & Attendance systems which are currently the most comprehensive units available. These systems are CE and ISO9001 certified, assuring customers of their quality. Interface facilities have also been produced for all locally supported Payroll Packages, Human Resources Software, Job Costing Packages and Accounting Systems for simple and rapid transfer of data used for earning and deduction, costing of jobs etc… Some of the packages linked to are Touchstones’ PayDay package, Paynet’s Autopay package, Chips’ Pastel Payroll package, Sage’s V.I.P package, Softrite’s Adaski package, Belina’s BPP and HR packages and others.
The timeNet-Proteus systems have been supplied to a wide range of organizations, including: Zimbabwe Trade Exchange, Tanganda Tea Company, MegaPak Zimbabwe (HQ, Ruwa LIM, Harare, Willowvale Manufacturing, Bulawayo Sales), T. M. and Pick & Pay (Zimbabwe) in 59 Stores country-wide, Sawhira Textiles, CPL Limited, Cochrane Engineering, Carnaudmetalbox, ABC Auctions Harare.
In September 2011 Timelink commenced trading in Ozone Water & Air Purifying equipment under the trading name of Triogen Zimbabwe.
In May 2012, Timelink Systems was awarded the sole and exclusive Agency and Distributorship in Zimbabwe for the full range of Lion Laboratories’ breath alcohol analysis equipment. Timelink’s staff have been involved in the training, servicing, repairs and calibrations for the Lion AlcolMeters / Breathalyser since 1998 and Timelink full services for the equipment, including after sales support, training, calibration, servicing and repairs with the full technical backing of Lion Laboratories UK.
Lion Laboratories was formed in 1967, manufacturing their Alcolyser product for police screening use and in 1970 they set up a research unit at The Cardiff University to study the principles of breath alcohol physiology and analysis. In 1974, they produced the world’s first breathalyser using the fuel cell that is used today by most breathalyser manufacturers. Lion Laboratories accreditations include CE, BSI, ISO9001, OIML, UKAS, ANAB and Medical Devices Directive 93/42/EEC.
Lion Laboratories’ breathalysers have been used in Zimbabwe since approximately 1988 and have been supplied to a number of organization, including: Zuva Petroleum, Zimbabwe Platinum Mines, Unilever Zimbabwe, Total Zimbabwe, The Zimbabwe Republic Police, The Zimbabwe National Army – Military Police, National Railways of Zimbabwe, Tanganda Tea Company, Straus Zimbabwe, Swift Unifreight, Sino Cement Zimbabwe, Securico, Schweppes Zimbabwe, Nyaradzo Funeral Assurance, Metallon Gold, Lafarge Cement, Irvines Zimbabwe, Hunyani Paper, Freda Rebecca Mine, Delta Zimbabwe, Cross Country Containers, Colbro Transport, Cargo Carriers, Beitbridge Bulawayo Railways
In 2024 Timelink was awarded distributorship and agency for the R2D and Digit Fuel and Fleet Management Systems for Bulk Storage Monitoring, Dispense from Bulk Storage Monitoring and Controls and Heavy Vehicle Fuel Monitoring. Allowing for realtime monitoring of fuel in bulk tanks, dispensing into vehicles and tracking in Haulage Trucks and Heavy Machinery.
Fuel Monitoring systems have been supplied and implemented at a number of Farms and Organisations, including: Pat Dun & Mark Futter (Pvt) Ltd, Forrester Estates, Inamo Agri, Total Loading Solutions and Ganthorpe Enterprises.
Timelink is situated in Stortford Parade at 20 Easton Street, Mabelreign, Harare, Zimbabwe. Timelink is registered with the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority with VAT & TIN and provide fully compliant Fiscal Tax Invoices and registered with PRAZ.
